Becoming a Member of the Manchester Pedestrian Club

There are two routes to becoming a member: Either personal invitation and recommendation by an existing member, or any individual may apply, for invitation to walk with the club, to the Honorary Secretary. They will then be sent full details of future walks.

Prospective members must attend three walks (and meals) before they can apply for club membership.

The prospective member may then, if they wish, apply for membership. On receipt of a membership application, the Committee votes on whether the applicant be invited to join the Club, informed by existing members. (In the past 20 years, only one application has ever been rejected.)
